Just few Minutes from Bite - Bike & Kite Accommodations, hidden in the city promenade you can find a slice of paradise: Tipa Beach.

Trapani province is famous for their tuna factories (Tonnare) like the one you can find in Bonagia, San Vito lo Capo, Scopello and Favignana; The oldest one is "Punta Tipa". The Tonnara Tipa was built on a flat area that extends towards the sea to the northeast of the city of Trapani. On the front of the building there was a small church "San Giuliano la Punta". Next to the small church there was also a tower. Perhaps it could be one of the 5 towers symbol of the city.

Since 1961 the Tipa Tonnara stopped funtionnig. Nowadays, unfortunately, it is a ruin. The place where it is located is a wonderful glimpse between the land and the sea. You can admire beautiful sunsets and crystal clear waters.
